Leonid,

A warm, warm welcome to you. Thanks for tuning up and tuning in to the Violin Society. You have an interesting history and biography. I look forward to your contributions and writings here on Violin Society.

My favorite piece to play is probably the Arpeggione transcribed for Viola, I love it dearly.

I'm getting into fiddle lately and am going to build some repertoi in that area on Fiddle World.

Profile Information

Personal Statement or Biography
Russian violinist Leonid Prymak is here.

In 1975 I came to USA from morbid mother Russia. In Russia I had great training and studied with the class mate of legendary David Oistrakh and Nathan Milstein.

It is some what very unusual email. Today, at 62 I play on most beautiful modern Italian violin. What do I play? Waxman Carmen Fantasie, Tchaikovsky violin concerto, Paganini Campanella and Paganini Caprice #24 I play it all every day just to keep my hands warm.

My dear mother, Rose, died in 2001 and I named my Italian violin after her. Name Rose is written inside of my violin on the violin maker's label and in the Certificate of Authenticity.

About 25 years ago I was offered very valuable Italian violin which was made in Cremona by the great Guarneri Del Gesu in 1736. The price at that time was $300 000. I made a mistake by not buying this violin. Today this violin is $8 million dollars. G. Kremer is playing on this violin now.

My Rose is as good the Guarneri Del Gesu which I did not buy. It is also made in Cremona, Italy by the best modern violin maker of Cremona.

At this time I'm officially representing my violin maker in USA and other countries.

A Fine Italian Violin is both
Art and a Great Investment

If you would like to buy Great Italian violin for yourself please contact me.

Would you like to see pictures of my violin Rose via email?

If you enter my name, Leonid Prymak, in www.amazon.com you will see my novels.

Best Wishes and Regards,

Leonid Prymak
